We identified an issue with scaling behaviour that led to increased response times for our edge services when using the Web Application Firewall (WAF) service and serving cache misses.
This resulted in degraded performance for some users, with an increase in response times.
The issue stemmed from an autoscaler on the WAF service failing to add capacity on demand in a timely manner and has been structurally addressed.
